Research indicates that many Black Americans do not participate in foreign missions due to the lack of finances and limited fundraising opportunities. This is on God’s mind and certainly it is the burden of His people.  TOCF seeks to address that need and provide an avenue through which African Americans can experience global missions with fewer financial barriers.

The purpose of TOCF is to serve and support Black missionaries as well as providing resources for churches and mobilizing the black church to the mission field.   We do this through…

Missionary Care–to keep them uplifted in prayer, offer encouragement and keep their name and ministry constantly before the body of Christ;

Financial–to provide a grant to those currently serving in cross-cultural ministry;

Mobilizing–to mobilize the Black American church for global outreach.

Why Now?

According to research, blacks make up less than 1% of the missionary force coming out of the U.S. A majority of the Black Americans serving on the foreign mission field today are between the ages of 40-69. In the next 20 years, they will either be retired or approaching retirement. If a new generation does not rise up, the black presence on the mission field could be extinct. THE TIME IS NOW!
